ESTUDIO DE SISTEMAS MOLECULARES Y MATERIALES NANO/MICROESTRUCTURADOS.
Los temas de investigación que se desarrollan en este laboratorio comprenden distintos aspectos relacionados con Nanociencia y Nanotecnología. Los principales proyectos son:
1) Fisicoquímica de sistemas moleculares autoensamblados sobre superficies metálicas como plataformas moleculares para la modificación de superficies y diseño de dispositivos (R.C. Salvarezza).
2) Desarrollo de biosensores ópticos y electroquímicos en base a sistemas biomimeticos en particular bicapas lipídicas ensambladas sobre superficies metálicas modificadas (M.E. Vela).
3) Desarrollo de nuevos métodos de nano y microfabricación en base a litografías suaves (molding, stencil lithography) y la aplicación de superficies nano/microestructuradas en adhesión bacteriana y celular (P.L. Schilardi).
4) Caracterización de nanomateriales y monocapas orgánicas mediante técnicas de ultra alto vacío (G. Benítez).
5) Autoensamblado molecular sobre semiconductores en particular monocapas orgánicas sobre GaAs, InP, superficies metálicas modificadas mediante fullerenos (B. Blum).
6) Nanomateriales con aplicaciones biomédicas: nanoparticulas metalicas recubiertas de fármacos, nanoparticulas para control de actividad bacteriana. (C. Vericat).
7) Desarrollo de métodos de fabricación de nanomateriales de interés en electrocatalisis y electroanálisis: nanoparticulas metálicas y bimetálicas (M. Fonticelli).
8) Síntesis de nanopartículas protegidas con grupos orgánicos y nanoestructuras para el desarrollo de sensores de gases y vapores volátiles orgánicos (VOCs), y otras aplicaciones analíticas (F. Ibáñez).
9) Síntesis orgánica de moléculas de interés en nanodispositivos.
10) Modelado de la evolución de nanoestructuras en procesos de autodifusión (M.F. Castez).
