INIFTA
INIFTA is a theoretical and applied physical chemistry research institute
sited on the premises of the Universidad Nacional de La Plata, (UNLP),
La Plata, Argentina, and run together with the Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones
Científicas and Técnicas (CONICET) and the Comisión
de Investigaciones Científicas de la Provincia de Buenos Aires
(CIC).
The
Institute has the following operating structure:
• Scientific Research.
• Scientific Assistance and Services.
• Spreading Science and Extension.
The main objectives of INIFTA are:
• To conduct scientific research in the field of Physical Chemistry
and related sciences and to contribute to the training of scientific researchers
and technicians.
• To develop and implement programs and projects in physical chemistry
research either on its own or in collaboration with other government or
private agencies.
• To do research on request or by giving scientific advice to other
agencies and technical groups.
• To organize courses, colloquia and seminars on subjects related
to physical chemistry.
• To cooperate with other Argentine or foreign agencies in the specialized
field.
• To spread scientific knowledge to society.
